However, hours before the documentary’s release, Todd publicly stated that he is not the creator of Bitcoin. If Todd were truly the creator, he would have been only 23 years old when the white paper was first published. Many are skeptical, as it seems nearly impossible for someone that young to have developed such a disruptive technology in the financial world, which has since grown to be worth $1.2 trillion (at the time of writing).
