Justice Department is considering a potential breakup of Google after a federal ruling on antitrust violations.

After the federal judge ruling on Google breaking anti-monopoly laws, suppressing competitors in the search engine space, now news is hitting that the department is weighing a potential breakup of Google. Google spends billions of dollars on exclusive contracts to become the search engine that is default for many phones around the world is also being looked at by the Justice Department. Google stated they will be appealing the decision, but many will be watching to see how the stock will be affected until the end of year as the Justice department comes to a decision. Shares of Google dropped 1% after hours on Tuesday.
